“Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.” (Psalm 12:1) Faithful Men is a weekly programme on BWWR, which hopes to teach and build up faithful men in families, churches, workplaces, and every area of their calling, for the glory of God. May men everywhere be committed, godly leaders as God has commanded. Rise up, O men of God!
“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth…” (Ecclesiastes 12:1) Attention all youth and young people! Tune in to Bible Witness Web Radio’s Youth Bible Hour, a special programme just for the youth. Each week, you will hear messages and counsels from God’s Word that will aid your godly living and testimony in this world.
God willing, can the Bible Witness Webradio include say half hour each day sections of other languages, e.g. Mandarin, Korean, Indonesian, Burmese, Japanese, etc. Then the ministry will reach the tongues of all nations! God bless!
I am a user of your web radio service. Thanks a lot for this wonderful web radio. It is much appreciated.
Yesterday morning I tuned in to Rev. Koshy’s sermon and this morning to Rev. Quek’s. On both the occasions I was ministered to. I will continue to listen in whenever possible and especially during the times when I will be abroad. Thank you for serving the Lord through this channel. May the Lord richly bless your ministry.
I had always been looking to listen to Christian Radio online. And it’s always so hard to find. I’m glad when I came across this, and it’s something so close to home, thank you. Please continue to bring His message to Singapore and the rest of the world.
I thank God for upholding this ministry through its inception till now. Being given the ability to help in this ministry and listen to Youth Bible Hour most weeks, is truly a great blessing. Through the faithful sharing of God’s Word by Pastor Koshy and other preachers, it has aided my spiritual growth. The discussions are laid forth in a manner that is so simple and easy to understand, making it easy for me to apply in the context of daily living.
In the most recent series, “The Importance of Prayer in the Lives of Youth”, I have learnt the necessity of prayer in a faithful Christian’s life, and how we should have intercessory prayer for one another. As Preacher Joshua said in the discussion, “We must pray for God to teach us and help us to pray, that we may be a prayerful people”. This is my prayer, foremost for myself and all the youth.
“Trust in the LORD, happy is he.” (Proverbs 16:20)
Thank God for the “WOMEN OF VIRTUE”, a new weekly programme for ladies. It came in timely to remind me to trust in the LORD at all times before I “embarked” on a “roller coaster” of activity this week. Though I tuned in at 7:55 am this morning & was all ready to hear this new segment, I was interrupted for the first few minutes. However, I knew that I could make up for those missed sections by the repeat broadcasts on Thursday , Friday or Saturday. Thank God for such provision! During the conversation among these 3 sisters in Christ – Abigail, Phoebe & Lydia, the gist I gathered was to adopt a right attitude & see things in God’s perspective when facing problems. Instead of brooding over troubles in life, one ought to be joyful & thankful as the LORD has given us many blessings, such as a God-fearing family, a sound Bible-believing Church, like-minded Christian friends etc. Above all, I’m grateful for my salvation, one of the blessings in which the LORD has redeemed me through His precious son, Jesus Christ! When I was half-way through retyping my email which I tried to send to BWWR this morning but failed, lo & behold, I heard the repeat of the ladies segment especially those missed parts at around 2:00 in the early morning. Thank the LORD for His speedy provision again! In fact, this is my third time writing the email since my first two attempts have failed to submit. I was almost tempted to give up after the second attempt but now I know why the Lord has allowed it to happen – so that I have more blessings to share after hearing the ladies’ segment again. Surely, the song sung by Sis Deborah Mae on “Rejoice in the LORD” has struck a chord in my heart for “God never moves without purpose of plan…” Indeed, “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (1 Thess.5:18) Perhaps, the Lord wants me to put into practice what I have learnt from the ladies segment on giving thanks and praise to Him even when things don’t turn out well initially. The poem, “Trust, Delight, Commit & Rest” has also encouraged me to embrace Psalm 37 as my daily prayer. I would like to introduce the ladies segment to my contemporaries so that they can also experience wonderful spiritual blessings. I’m looking forward to hearing the “WOMEN OF VIRTUE” for more on how to pursue the attributes of godliness, to be a virtuous woman.
On a separate note, this is an overdue thanksgiving item which I couldn’t get done last year. Nevertheless, it’s better late than never to give thanks for the precious spiritual blessings I received from the BWWR. Someone has used an analogy that just as eating a variety of nutritious food is beneficial to one’s physical health, so is a diet of nourishing spiritual food to one’s soul. I thank God for many faithful hands that have laboured and prepared such a good spread of spiritual ‘feasting’ serving from the morning, devotions, sermon extracts, meditations from Psalms and the Gospel of John, Pilgrim’s Progress audio dramatization, music, to the Children programme and much more.. O! How it is satisfying to my spiritual palate. On several occasions, the night programme is likened as my spiritual ‘supper’ when I stayed up late in the night. “O taste and see that the LORD is good…” (Psalm 34:8) Last but not least, may the LORD’s grace be with you all, my beloved brethren, that you’ll continue to press on “spreading the Gospel throughout the world, and edifying the body of believers” near and far. (1 Cor.15:58)
Dear brethren of Gethsemane BPC & Pastor Koshy,
Praise God for the service you are providing through Bible Witness Web Radio. Thank you for your labour of love. Such a wonderful line-up of edifying programmes. : )
I would like to thank the Pastors for their powerful and faithful messages. Even as I write this email, I am listening to Pastor Koshy’s message on ‘Facing Afflictions as God’s People’ (Rom. 12:12-15). By God’s grace, it echoes the message Pastor Kian Sing gave us this morning, to walk through the year under God’s care (Deut. 11:8-12).
Key challenge that faced Pastor Koshy & Gethsemane BPC last year – I was aware of it through news articles. You were in my prayers then. But, how different it is listening to Pastor’s message as he relates the hurt – in his message and his voice. Yes, when a part of the body of Christ hurts, the rest of the body is affected too.
You remain in my prayers. Pastor Koshy, may you continue to work and rest in the Lord, and that God may sustain you with a double portion of his blessings and strength. May Gethsemane BPC stand firm and grow in the grace and knowledge of God’s truth!
Press on in the Lord Jesus Christ!
Your Sister in Christ,
I went through the App Store to download a Singapore radio station and that’s how I discovered your station. I feel so glad that I can listen to sermons while traveling to and fro work. I really support this station.
Really thank the Lord for letting me find this website which preaches sound doctrines. Keep up the great work!
Congratulations on the website! It´s been helpful to me on the other side of the globe.
Together in the Great Commission spreading God´s glory amongst the peoples!
I got to know of this website through my colleague. It is useful as I can tune in and listen as I carry on with my office work.
May I know if there are Mandarin sermons, as my mother and sister are non-English speaking believers.
I like the segment on Pilgrim’s Progress very much. Wish that it could be longer or maybe broadcast it more frequently. Keep it up.
