“Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.” (Psalm 12:1) Faithful Men is a weekly programme on BWWR, which hopes to teach and build up faithful men in families, churches, workplaces, and every area of their calling, for the glory of God. May men everywhere be committed, godly leaders as God has commanded. Rise up, O men of God!
“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth…” (Ecclesiastes 12:1) Attention all youth and young people! Tune in to Bible Witness Web Radio’s Youth Bible Hour, a special programme just for the youth. Each week, you will hear messages and counsels from God’s Word that will aid your godly living and testimony in this world.
I thank God for upholding this ministry through its inception till now. Being given the ability to help in this ministry and listen to Youth Bible Hour most weeks, is truly a great blessing. Through the faithful sharing of God’s Word by Pastor Koshy and other preachers, it has aided my spiritual growth. The discussions are laid forth in a manner that is so simple and easy to understand, making it easy for me to apply in the context of daily living.
In the most recent series, “The Importance of Prayer in the Lives of Youth”, I have learnt the necessity of prayer in a faithful Christian’s life, and how we should have intercessory prayer for one another. As Preacher Joshua said in the discussion, “We must pray for God to teach us and help us to pray, that we may be a prayerful people”. This is my prayer, foremost for myself and all the youth.
I like the segment on Pilgrim’s Progress very much. Wish that it could be longer or maybe broadcast it more frequently. Keep it up.
I found BWWR today and am listening to your broadcast. I’m very glad hear your broadcast, also we can hear it
very clearly in my city (Yogyakarta-Indonesia). My town has two christian radio stations, and now your broadcast
is the alternative christian radio that we can access by Internet and hear while we work here.
The Bible Witness Web Radio has been a blessing to me especially on weekdays when I work late most of the time.
The messages and music keep me tuned to the Lord’s words and no matter how stressful the situation, I can stay calm and have inner peace. Thank God for such a wonderful ministry and I have been telling all my friends and colleagues about it. Praise the Lord!
Thanks, please continue to preach the Word of God.
It is edifying!
The Youth Bible Hour on BWWR has been a great blessing to me. The hymns sung often echoes in my heart as I listen to them. The recordings of discussions on various spiritual topics have been very apt and clear. The discussions have also taught me to think how I ought to apply God’s truth in my life.
I thank God for enabling me to listen to programmes of the BWWR that have been specifically prepared and recorded for youth. I am thankful for God’s providence through this area and the hard work of those who have worked behind the scenes in editing and broadcasting.
Congratulations on launching BWWR. I have been listening to it since last week, the programme has been a great blessing to me and has uplifted my many hours at the office. I enjoyed the great selection of excellent songs, music and short sermon extracts. In fact, I am right now listening to the wonderful rendition of “The Ways of God”.
I believe that God will bless this ministry mightily not only in Singapore but to the far ends of the world, especially to countries where good Gospel music & messages are difficult to come by. May God continue to bless BWWR, the brethren behind it and Rev. Das Koshy, and grant you all His strength, wisdom & guidance as you serve Him in this special way.
“Trust in the LORD, happy is he.” (Proverbs 16:20)
Thank God for the “WOMEN OF VIRTUE”, a new weekly programme for ladies. It came in timely to remind me to trust in the LORD at all times before I “embarked” on a “roller coaster” of activity this week. Though I tuned in at 7:55 am this morning & was all ready to hear this new segment, I was interrupted for the first few minutes. However, I knew that I could make up for those missed sections by the repeat broadcasts on Thursday , Friday or Saturday. Thank God for such provision! During the conversation among these 3 sisters in Christ – Abigail, Phoebe & Lydia, the gist I gathered was to adopt a right attitude & see things in God’s perspective when facing problems. Instead of brooding over troubles in life, one ought to be joyful & thankful as the LORD has given us many blessings, such as a God-fearing family, a sound Bible-believing Church, like-minded Christian friends etc. Above all, I’m grateful for my salvation, one of the blessings in which the LORD has redeemed me through His precious son, Jesus Christ! When I was half-way through retyping my email which I tried to send to BWWR this morning but failed, lo & behold, I heard the repeat of the ladies segment especially those missed parts at around 2:00 in the early morning. Thank the LORD for His speedy provision again! In fact, this is my third time writing the email since my first two attempts have failed to submit. I was almost tempted to give up after the second attempt but now I know why the Lord has allowed it to happen – so that I have more blessings to share after hearing the ladies’ segment again. Surely, the song sung by Sis Deborah Mae on “Rejoice in the LORD” has struck a chord in my heart for “God never moves without purpose of plan…” Indeed, “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (1 Thess.5:18) Perhaps, the Lord wants me to put into practice what I have learnt from the ladies segment on giving thanks and praise to Him even when things don’t turn out well initially. The poem, “Trust, Delight, Commit & Rest” has also encouraged me to embrace Psalm 37 as my daily prayer. I would like to introduce the ladies segment to my contemporaries so that they can also experience wonderful spiritual blessings. I’m looking forward to hearing the “WOMEN OF VIRTUE” for more on how to pursue the attributes of godliness, to be a virtuous woman.
On a separate note, this is an overdue thanksgiving item which I couldn’t get done last year. Nevertheless, it’s better late than never to give thanks for the precious spiritual blessings I received from the BWWR. Someone has used an analogy that just as eating a variety of nutritious food is beneficial to one’s physical health, so is a diet of nourishing spiritual food to one’s soul. I thank God for many faithful hands that have laboured and prepared such a good spread of spiritual ‘feasting’ serving from the morning, devotions, sermon extracts, meditations from Psalms and the Gospel of John, Pilgrim’s Progress audio dramatization, music, to the Children programme and much more.. O! How it is satisfying to my spiritual palate. On several occasions, the night programme is likened as my spiritual ‘supper’ when I stayed up late in the night. “O taste and see that the LORD is good…” (Psalm 34:8) Last but not least, may the LORD’s grace be with you all, my beloved brethren, that you’ll continue to press on “spreading the Gospel throughout the world, and edifying the body of believers” near and far. (1 Cor.15:58)
I am a user of your web radio service. Thanks a lot for this wonderful web radio. It is much appreciated.
The Youth Bible Hour has been a source of spiritual inspiration, as well as a further means of grace to hear & learn more of God’s Word. Truly thank God for all the hard work & dedication, which Pastor Koshy and the respective preachers had put in, to address and prepare the content for the various topics that had been discussed.
I have learnt that I am living in a world that is filled with sin, with the devil being ever so ready to entrap me through temptations and worldly philosophies that seem so alluring, but all leading subtly to the ways of the world. Knowing that “the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever” (1 John 2:17), reading the Bible indeed helps me to be discerning in the midst of life’s trials and adversities. Truly, through the reading of the Bible, I had been rebuked for the mistakes that I committed, as well as comforted and strengthened when confronted with doubts or perplexing situations. Oh, what better remedy against worldliness is there than to listen to God’s Word and to revise His truths for me through the Youth Bible Hour!
What wonderful programmes on BWWR!
I love to turn on the radio whenever I can. It is so comforting and I found peace by listening to it.
Thank you so much for your hard work.
Just want to say a word of big “Thank you!” for this ministry. It has been a constant source of strength and reminder for me to walk close to the Lord, as I am drawn nearer to the Lord by the sermons, hymns, and short readings of the Scripture. Truly a great blessing, keeping my mind occupied with satisfying material as I work through my day in office.
And it is also a source of introduction to many great material that I never knew existed, like creation science research, the Alexandra Scourby audio Bible and even songs by Bro. Kok Wah’s children! 🙂
Praise The Lord for BWWR!
