This special programme seeks to cater to the needs of the sisters in our churches. We pray that through our weekly segments, the ladies who are tuning in will grow to become "women of virtue", a valuable blessing more precious than rubies.

Luke 2:10 The angels brought good tidings of great joy. This news of the Saviour’s birth is the beginning of great joy to the earth. The joy of Christ’s birth is sealed at His death on the cross. We can rejoice at His atoning sacrifice because the wrath of God was appeased for us. (Romans 5:11) His resurrection and ascension brought great joy as well. Through Him, we receive fulness of joy.

What is “fetal joy”? Pastor Koshy calls the joy of the babe in Elizabeth’s womb, fetal joy. John the Baptizer was filled with the Holy Ghost, even from the womb, and he leapt in joy at Mary’s salutation of Christ. John’s initial faith was a strong influence in his later life. Mothers, pray that the Holy Ghost will give joy to your children even from the womb.

The second counterfeit joy is “foolish joy”. Proverbs 15:21 “Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.” The third counterfeit joy is “ carnal, or fleshly joy” (Isaiah 22:13), the fourth counterfeit joy is “hypocritical joy” (Job 20:5), the fifth counterfeit joy is “shallow, or superficial joy” (Matthew 13:20).
